GitOps is the operational model where Git repositories are the single source of truth for both infrastructure and application configuration. Every change - whether a new deployment, a scaling adjustment, or a policy update - is a pull request. Approved changes are automatically reconciled against the live environment.

We implement GitOps workflows that eliminate manual kubectl commands, ad-hoc SSH sessions, and inconsistent deployment scripts. Your entire cluster state is defined declaratively in Git, and a reconciliation controller (ArgoCD or Flux) ensures that what's in Git is what's running in production.

Drift detection runs continuously. If someone makes an out-of-band change directly to the cluster, the system detects the deviation and either alerts or automatically corrects it. This guarantees that your running state always matches your declared intent.

Rollbacks become trivial - reverting a deployment is just a Git revert. Every change has a commit hash, an author, a review trail, and a timestamp. This gives your compliance and security teams a complete, immutable audit log of every infrastructure mutation.

We structure repositories with environment-specific overlays using Kustomize, so the same base configuration can be promoted across dev, staging, and production with environment-specific patches. Helm charts are versioned and rendered at deploy time, giving you the flexibility of templates with the auditability of declarative configs.
